URhired supporting women recruits in the armyAt URhired.co.uk we specialise in progressing women at work and in business, particularly in industries, in organisations or at levels where women are under-represented.

We support the public sector with their positive action campaigns and in the private sector we improve the bottom line by increasing the representation of women at all levels.

Organisations need an equal balance of men and women to match the different customer requirements and that’s the gap that is filled by URhired. In the public sector equal representation produces better levels of service.

Our programmes are borne out of many years research, proven results in practise and solutions that work today, not tomorrow. We are the most progressive because we offer a range of media to deliver our programmes including e-learning, audio programmes and web offerings.

Our Case Studies

We are currently engaged in a number of different ways across many different sectors, some of which are illustrated below:

In the Army – Our profile raising activity with the Army highlighted some of the benefits as a suitable career options for young women.

In the Motor Industry – we are working with a major motor manufacturer to improve the position of women in their retail sector. This work has involved strategy formulation and research projects.

In the University Sector – our work with Hull University and their Logistics institute included attendance at conference as specialist speakers.

In the Public Sector – we are engaged with a number of local authorities to deliver training to women in under-represented roles. Our stress management session for PA’s on on behalf of CV One (the promotional arm of Coventry City Council) received fabulous feedback and we will be doing more.

Women in Work programme – Our work in the logistics industry, where women are substantially under-presented, included on-line programmes and video tips. The delegates were particularly complimentary about our work and immediately implemented our lessons with fabulous results.

In the Banking and Consultancy sector - The WOW factor, Women’s Development programme, has been very well received by a number of the banks and building societies, helping women progress in very real terms.

In Policing – we are very excited about being engaged by Lancashire Police to address their women’s network.

With the Chamber of Commerce – Our seminars have been carried out in a number of Chambers with profound effects. In fact, the Birmingham Chamber of commerce Events manager declared our seminars the best ever.
